Available Scholarships

Dear High School Dance Community,

We are excited to share an opportunity for high school dance students through the CADTD Scholarship Program.

While CADTD State 2026 will not take place as scheduled due to low registration, we want to emphasize that CADTD's mission continues. Supporting students and dance education across California remains central to our purpose, and the CADTD Scholarship Program is an important part of that commitment.

CADTD is pleased to offer scholarships to graduating seniors who have demonstrated dedication to dance education, leadership, and service within their school and community.

These scholarships are intended to recognize students who exemplify:

• Commitment to dance and the arts

• Strong character and leadership

• Academic responsibility

• Positive contributions to their school dance program and community

Scholarship funds may be used toward post-secondary education, including college, university, or certified dance training programs, and will be paid directly to the higher education institution.

We encourage dance program directors and teachers to share this opportunity with eligible students and families. All scholarship applications must be submitted by March 21, 2026.

Although the State event will not be held this year, scholarship recipients will still be selected and recognized through an alternate announcement format to be shared at a later date.

CADTD remains committed to celebrating students who carry dance education forward beyond high school and to sustaining meaningful opportunities for the dance community.
